To ensure user security Clipe may request additional confirmation before completing a deletion request. This protects users from unauthorized or fraudulent attempts. Any required verification will be communicated to you by email.
Once your request is confirmed Clipe begins the data deletion process. All personal profile information posts messages interactions and media associated with your account will be permanently erased. Some encrypted technical logs may be retained for a limited time to meet legal or security requirements but they cannot be used to identify you.
A short grace period may apply after your confirmation. During this time the account remains inactive and cannot be accessed. After the grace period expires all data is irreversibly removed and recovery is no longer possible.
Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of an account belonging to a minor or removal of the minor’s personal data. These requests must also be sent to contact@clipe.app and may require additional verification to ensure the protection of the child.
